Every year I dread as fall nears; the days get shorter and the sky gets grayer as the lazy summer days disappear. But this year autumn has brought nothing but warmth to our home. We have had the best time making caramel apples and pumpkin cookies, visiting the pumpkin patch, decorating pumpkins and going to Halloween parties!
Here's to a fabulous fall!

So yes, I did use spray paint for the frame. I got it at a craft store...I think they may have a larger color selection than like Home Depot. Also there are kinds that adhere to things like plastic and are more durable...that's what I used...I think its called Krylon...it's a little more expensive, but looks way nicer (if you are painting plastic or metal).
So my tip for painting is that if you do use regular latex paint, water it down a little bit when painting furniture. You have to use a few more coats, but it dries fast, and it looks SO much smoother and less clumpy. Good luck with your lamp...and post a picture when you are done!
