Over the river and through the woods...

...to grandmother's (and grandfather's) house we go! Our whirlwind Thanksgiving began with an early start at grandma CoCo's house for what else, but a pumpkin pie breakfast! We ate our pie, watched football and chased Keaton around. Then we went back home, put on our "pretties" and headed to the Skinner Family portion of our Thanksgiving. At Aunt Marcia's we ate yummy appetizers, drank wine, and chased Keaton around (the golf course this time). We then headed back to grandma CoCo's for the main attraction - dinner! As always the food was delicious and the company was absolutely entertaining, with little Sean telling us his "wishbone wish" was for it to rain a million pounds of bacon (I personally am hoping this one does not come true)! We ate more pie, Kiwi ate a plate of whip cream, chased her around again and then headed home to pack for our trip to Portland.

The next morning we woke up early, well more like Kiwi woke us up early, and drove in one straight shot (4 hours) to Portland, a true Thanksgiving miracle! The weekend was a blast, with Keaton and Reagan getting in lots of much needed Grandma and Grandpa time! The girls also enjoyed being able to spend time with all three of their uncles in the same place at the same time, pretty rare! In between all of the shopping and eating, Ian and Courtney had their engagement party, where the girls enjoyed showing all the guests what they do best; Reagan threw up on everyone (looks like Nicole doesn't mind though) and Kiwi, was well, crazy Kiwi. She ate grapes till she almost popped, threw a cue ball at her second cousin Madi (thanks Uncle Ryan) and serenaded the group with her own rendition of Bach's "Minuet" on the piano. All in all, I think she really enjoyed the fiesta. As always our trip felt way too short, with us not saying our "bu-byes" till the last possible minute...can't wait for Christmas to chase Keaton all around Portland again!

Oh my craziness! You are a good sport--that is a lot of running around for Thanksgiving! Oh my gosh I am dying to spend more time with your girls. Wish they could come here and play in the snow with Blaine! We will be home from the 22nd until the 4th of Jan. I think. Will you be in Medford some of that time? I hope so!!!!
Oh, and you and I will have to take sewing classes together or something so we can learn to make coke can costumes and such. ;)
